Robert Daly 

Rob has a wealth of experience as CEO, COO, Strategist, Change Agent, and Serial Entrepreneur. He has been a Fixer a Builder and Trusted Leader for top-tier companies in software, retail, manufacturing, consumer goods, and telecommunications. Rob s career started at Procter & Gamble spanning Strategy, Brand, and Operations in the U.S and Europe; leading initiatives to accelerate the effectiveness of new plant startups and transform legacy plants, launching integrated brand and category business teams, corporate efforts to accelerate speed to market from R&D to the shelf.

Rob launched C.O.I., a Strategic Management Consulting firm in 1980 focused on the Fortune 100, providing Change Strategy, Executive Development, and shop floor Transformation, driving notable results with: AT&T, GE, GM, KACC, OCF, Pechiney, TRW, and Xerox.

As CEO of CBG Telecommunications, he built the largest Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) in Ohio. And was honored as Entrepreneur of the Year in northeast Ohio. CBG was sold to ICG Netcom a publicly traded Company in Denver, where Rob was President of the combined companies for the year following the sale.

Rob founded Catalyst, to help early stage companies raise capital, flush out there business model, and build out there teams. Catalyst launched three software companies, two of which enjoyed successful exits. Rob went on to launch Bluespring Software; a VC backed Business Process Management Suite Software Company, taking the company through the bubble, repurposing the company twice prior to its sale in 2006.

Rob served as COO of USR. A $2.6 billion, 2700 store specialty retailer and Manufacturer of Brands including, Lens Crafters, Casual Corner, Petite Sophisticate, Easy Spirit etc. Rob made significant improvements to strategy, culture, new product innovation and talent acquisition, recruiting two new Division Presidents.

Rob spent the last 2 years as CEO in Residence of the launch team of CincyTechUSA, the region s 1st Venture Development Organization helping entrepreneurs shape and grow their business, providing and syndicating Capital, and a broad range of guidance, market insight. Rob sponsored investments in software, consumer technology, manufacturing automation and digital media.

Active in his community, Rob has advised family owned Cincinnati based companies on a broad range of issues, performed considerable pro bono consulting for Cincinnati s Board of Health, Housing Authority, and local Universities, Xavier, UC and NKU. He served terms as President of the Greater Cincinnati Venture Association, and President of Cincinnati s Fair Housing Association, receiving the mayor proclaimed a day in his honor for his contribution to Race relations in 1986. Rob received his undergraduate education at Hillsdale College where he wore a helmet. His graduate studies included Organization Behavior in the School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Rob is a Director at Thinkvine Inc, SAAS Capital, Diamond Fiber Composites, Cardinal Solutions, and the Entrepreneurship Institute at Northern Kentucky University.
