Jim Kanir is a veteran executive in the high tech arena with extensive management success in enterprise software and SaaS companies.
He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Vx Global Partners Inc., a sales & marketing firm focused on developing and executing fast growth strategies for companies in the high tech arena. His current focus is on executive consulting roles with Web 2.0 Software as a Service (SaaS) organizations that specialize in productivity-centric products for business.
Expert in Mergers & Acquisitions and Sales & Marketing, Mr. Kanir has been involved with both large corporations and start-up organizations. In his most recent assignments, he positioned three out of his last four companies for acquisition, two of which were acquired by multi-national Fortune 500 firms.
Recently, Mr. Kanir served as President and CEO of Cohesia Corporation where he led negotiations culminating in the company's acquisition by Powerway, Inc., a Product Lifecycle Manufacturing (PLM) specialist. He then served as President and COO for Powerway where his primary focus was on acquisition integration, global company growth and new initiatives in the US, Asia, and Europe.
In earlier roles, Mr. Kanir served in global sales and marketing executive positions at Reasoning Inc., Unify Corporation, CrossAccess Corporation, Pentawave, and Bell & Howell. Mr. Kanir has a Business Management degree from Wilmington College. He also serves on the Advisory Board for the Northern Kentucky University Entrepreneur Institute.
